Prague Main Railway Station (colloquially “Hlavní nádraží”) is the largest passenger railway station in the Czech Republic and the most important railway station in Prague. Every day, it handles around 71,000 passengers and a number of regional, national and international trains, for which it is often the starting or finishing station.
Prague Main Railway station operates one terminal. It is located directly in the city center near the Wenceslav square.

Smoking is not allowed inside the Main Railway station. Next to the entrances, you can find areas where smoking is permitted.

In front of the departure hall there is shopping area with a lot of stores, restaurants and supermarket Billa.
The Main Railway station is very well situated in the city center. There is direct entrance to Metro C – station is named Hlavní nádraží ( red line ). In front of the building there is taxi zone and when you will get out of the Main Railway station you can turn to the right and go on the walkroad through the park, in the end of this walkroad there is tram stop.
